Richard o'Brien - Architecture: Exposure to Edit

Updated: Mar 5, 2023

This presentation has been postponed until 8th June.

On Thursday March 9th at 7.15 for a 7.30pm start, Richard o'Brien will be presenting "Architecture: Exposure to Edit" via Zoom. Visitors welcome - fee for the evening just £3.

Richard is an IT instructor based in Yorkshire. He has been involved in photography for 15-20 years and his particular interests are in architecture and editing.

In this presentation, Richard will talk about the kind of images he takes and what he looks for when shooting both internal and external architecture.

He will start by talking about the gear he uses and why, and then cover some of the very simple tricks he uses to help 'get the shot', especially in crowded locations, whilst showing some of his work.

In the second half of the talk, there will be a live demonstration (all questions welcome) editing some of the images using a combination of Lightroom Classic and Photoshop CC.

All of this is from the point of view of an amateur photographer, but a professional IT and Photoshop instructor.
